Ekiti 2018: Fayose’s Anointed Candidate, A Mere Charade, Says PDP
The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), caretaker committee Dayo Adeyeye, has described Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose’s endorsement of his Deputy Kolapo Olusola, a mere charade which would not stand the test of time.
Adeyeye said this on Thursday after meeting with key stakeholders of the PDP and his supporters in Ado Ekiti.
Adeyeye while briefing newsmen after the meeting asked members of the PDP in the state to disregard the purported endorsement saying that Governor Fayose cannot decide for the party.
The former minster who described governor Fayose as a betrayer said the governor had promised to handover to him after the expiration of his tenure in 2018.
Adeyeye had last week resigned his appointment as the chairman governing council of Ekiti state university to pursue his governorship ambition.
Adeyeye, Olujimi and other PDP aspirants in the state have been in a cold war with governor Fayose over the endorsement of Olusola.
