EFCC Arrests Four Suspected Yahoo Boys In Edo
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), have arrested suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City, Edo State.
The suspects, Shiko Romeo, Bobby Edigiu, Henry Nisike and Emmanuel Ayo were arrested recently by officers of the Nigeria Police on suspicion of being involved in internet fraud.
According to the EFCC, the suspects were said to have opened up using fake identification on Facebook in their attempt to defraud unsuspecting victims especially European and American citizens.
According to EFCC, Romeo, who claims to be a student of National Open University, NOUN, confessed that he scammed the duo of K. Zamaripas and Susan various sums of money in a romantic relationship using the name John Culfer who lives in New Jersey, USA.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
