Don’t Join #BringBackOurGirls 100 Days Rally, FG Tell Chibok Parents
The Federal Government yesterday, cautioned parents and guardians not to allow their children participate in the 100 days rally for the abducted Chibok girls by the #BringBackOurGirls campaign team.
The Coordinator of the Information Centre, Mr. Mike Omeri, gave this advice during the routine briefing on federal government mission to rescue the abducted Chibok girls.
“Information available to us is that some groups are planning to mobilize children across the country to hold rally to mark 100 days since the Chibok schoolgirls were abducted from their school.
“It will be wise for parents not to allow their children to participate and if they want to, they should be conscious of whom they are releasing their children to for the rally,” Omeri said.
He said government is not preventing citizens from exercising their constitutional rights but that it will be proper if the security situation in the country is not worsened.
