Disregard Reports of New Ebola Cases – FG
The Federal Government has asked Nigerians to ignore reports of fresh cases of Ebola infections in the country.
A section of the media had reported that five new cases of the Ebola virus disease has been recorded in Lagos, bringing the case to over 17.
But statement by the Special Assistant on Media and Communication to the Minister of Health, Mr Dan Nwomeh, said the report is not true.
“Disregard all rumours of new cases,” he said.
He added that the status remains the same, adding that confirmed cases of Ebola in Nigeria remain 12, 5 dead, 5 discharged, and 2 currently being treated.
