Death Toll at Synagogue Church Building Collapse Rises to 62
The death toll in the Synagogue Church of All Nations Building collapse few days ago has continued to rise fro the initial 17 declared by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), just as rescue efforts are still underway.
As at 5pm on Tuesday, the death toll from the building collapse earlier put at 59 rose to 62 in the midst of rescue operations.
This figure was made available this morning by the spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye.
Meanwhile, A 45-year-old woman walked out of the rubble of the collapsed building on Tuesday night after spending four days trapped in the rubble.
South-West spokesman for NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the woman “walked out” of a section of the pile of rubble at about 2.00am on Tuesday.
