Chief Of Air Staff Abubakar Tasks Airforce To Wipe Out Boko Haram Terrorists
Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has asked his men to deal harder and effective punches, against the remaining elements of the Boko Haram insurgency, in the North East.
The Air Chief said this when he commissioned a crew room for the air task force, in Maiduguri.
Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar told officers and men, that he has always sought to evolve strategies that would enable the service, adequately project air power, to effectively and efficiently deal with prevalent security threats.
One of those strategies is also to ensure that personnel welfare is given priority.
He said he is happy with the performances so far, and urged the men not to relent.
“I reassure you of our support…national economic realities permit. ”
The crew room building which houses a briefing room, library, a computer room, a pilots life-support room and bedrooms for pilots on standby among others, was formally commissioned by former Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Al-Amin Daggash.
