Barely two weeks after armed men stormed the residence of Paradigm Publisher, Mr Okikiola Ileowo ; another major blow has just befell the Nigerian social media circle and this time its our ever dynamic Ms Tosin Ajibade a.k.a OloriSupergal.
The sad incident which happened overnight today happened on Jubril martins street, lawanson, Surulere Lagos.
In a Telephone chat with OloriSupergal, the dark skinned blogger told PorscheClassy Media exclusively that she woke up this morning only to realize that her Honda Accord 2003 model with registration number GGE 202 CD navy blue color had been vandalized by unknown gunmen in front of her apartment.
According to OloriSupergal, the unknown bandits broke the side screen of the car, got access into the car and did a complete ransacking of all that was kept in the car. From the dashboard to power window buttons, nothing was spared. They also opened the boot of the car and made away with the brand new LG Television that was in the boot.
On sighting the damage done to the car, OloriSupergal said she proceeded to Lawanson Police Station to report the case. Below is how she narrated her ordeal with the police:
“I am seriously heartbroken at this point, not just because of the car but because of our so called policemen, those who are meant to be the major custodian of the law and protect the rights of the common man.
“I got to the police station this morning to make a formal report about what happened to my car overnight, the officer who attended to me was one Inspector Femi Victor Oni. I was told to write a statement which i did and at the end his colleague asked me to make payment so they can start investigation. I can’t believe my ears that after experiencing that kind of loss, i ran to the police for succour and yet they’re still asking me for money to help a common lady like me investigate a ported issue…This is just so sad and a shame on our great nation”
“It’s time for those in authority to take a proper stand on the Nigerian Police and how they discharge their duties especially as it affects the common man”, OloriSupergal said to PorscheClassy Media
As at the time of filing this report, nothing positive has been declared by men of the Lawanson Police Station who demanded a ‘Pay before Service” to investigate the said criminal act.
