Buhari Wins As Atiku Loses Online Poll Organised By His Support Group

The presidential candidate of the People last Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has again lost an online poll to his main contender in the 2019 election and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari.
The PDP candidate had earlier lost a similar poll organised by Citizens UK where about 6 presidential candidates from various political parties were featured. President Buhari won the poll by a wide margin.
In this latest poll organised by Democratic Solidarity Group (DSG), a political group that has been in open support for the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), President Muhammadu Buhari scored 66% of the total vote caste, while Atiku Abubakar recorded 34% of the total vote caste.
A total of 38,100 votes were casted on the Facebook page of the Democratic Solidarity Group (DSG) over a 7 days period.
The poll which was created on November 12, 2018 asking “who do you want as Nigeria’s president in 2019” ended on November 19, 2018.
Only the candidate of the PDP and the APC, Atiku Abubakar and Muhammadu Buhari respectively were featured in the poll. The pictures of both candidates where displayed for which voters clicked on for their votes to be recorded.
More polls, both online and offline are expected to be organized in the next few weeks as the race over who wins the 2019 presidential election gathers momentum.
