President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the retirement of permanent secretaries in various ministries.
Mr. Buhari made the decision known to the permanent secretaries during a meeting in his office at the presidential villa.
No less than 17 permanent secretaries were asked to go.
The decision is coming a day before cabinet ministers are inaugurated by the president.
