BUHARI IS UNSTABLE, BLOOD THIRSTY SAYS PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party in an apparent reaction to a statement credited to the leader of the Congress for Progressive Change, General Muhammadu Buhari has said former Head of State had become unstable and is being haunted by what it describes as “combat withdrawal syndrome.”
The party also described the CPC presidential candidate in the 2011 Presidential elections as excesively blood thirsty.
Mr. Buhari was quoted as having declared during a visit by a delegation of his part from Niger state on Monday that the Federal Government is the biggest of the entire Boko Haram sect ironically identified by Prof Ango Abdullahi.
Mr. Buhari also reportedly said the “2015 election must be free and fair” or something will happen.
In what seemd like a press conference specifically convened to react to General Buhari’s statement, the PDP said Mr. Buhari is blood thirsty and accused him of inflaming the orgy of violence in the country.
The party’s spokesperson, Olisa Metuh, who addressed the conference, said Mr. Buhari’s frequent call for revolution portray him as one suffering from “Combat Withdrawal Syndrome.”
He advised the Federal Government to recall the retired general to the Army and make him the leader of the military mission being planned for Mali “to help him ease his quest for blood.”
