Buhari Gets Senates’ Approval To Appoint 15 Advisers
The request by President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint 15 special advisers has been given swift approval by the Senate.
Buhari in his first correspondence with the Senate yesterday requested the Senate to approve the appointment of 15 advisers into his government.
About 24 hours after the request was made, the senate gave the approval which would be the second appointment the president would make since assuming office on Friday.
He had on Sunday named Femi Adeshina and Garba Shehu as his spokespersons as well as Abdullahi Kazaure as his State Chief of Protocol.
However, the names of the advisers are yet to be made public.
