Buddy, Popular Minna Hotelier Passes Away
Sir Chief Buddy Thaddeus Ewaleifo, MD and CEO of LEMAB Suites, Minna, Niger State, is dead.
Buddy, as he was fondly called, died in the morning of Thursday, January 21, 2016.
He was reported to have woken up that day, said his prayers, and then went out for a walk. On his return, he had morning devotion with his hotel staff. After the devotion, he went into his room and made some calls, including one to his immediate younger sister whose birthday was on same day. He later sent a member of his staff on an errand, only for same to arrive and see his boss being rushed to the hospital.
He breathed his last before he got to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a great throng of folks, friends and colleagues from all walks of life continues to besiege his residence at Games Village, Abuja, as well as his country home, Igueben, on condolence visit.
A former staff of the Nigeria Television Authority, Sir Buddy was a knight of the Saint Mulumba and a high chief (Ogidigan) in Igueben, Edo State.
He is survived by his wife, Marcel Ewaleifo (also formerly of NTA), four children, mother and siblings.
