Between Senator @Bukolasaraki and the Rest of them By Onilemarun Abdulkareem
Trust a man who always value you for thousands of years before you trust a rich man who will come for trade/rent every four years.
Election day is a day of harvest at which every politicians earns their deeds of antecedents, could we all agree that even those that have performed better can also loose at the poll? Only wiser politicians knows that.
Here comes a period of political weight and strength in Kwara immediately the political leader of the State left the dead PDP, every other politician who believe that Saraki dynasty is full of slavery and oppression chose to stay back in PDP with the hope that for Bukola Saraki to have left the PDP it’s a chance for them to grow and take over the mighty Kwara from him but they all forget to question themselves that: Do we have the potential or ability at which Bukola Saraki has?
Here comes a professor who served under Saraki dynasty and got all he desire through the young oloyeee and the late baba, I remember vividly when this man resigned in 2011 from FCC (Federal Character Commission) to pursue an uncertain Governorship ambition which he lost, but the next thing I see this man doing is running and moving around with the then Kwara state governor in 2011 with the believe that he knows the Leader Bukola Saraki could gain him back the seat which he intentionally resigned from, then this man knows that if not Bukola Saraki nobody else could restore him back which explains the reason why he kept singing Sai Bukky.
Not long when Senator Bukola and the presidency under GEJ keep-in several grievances because the president isn’t getting things right and also failed to yield to advices, the professor’s tenure elapsed at the FCC during the time and at that point Kwara state needed to nominate a new candidate. Everyone’s hope was to see that respect from the professor in the sense to consult his political leader for him to know the leader’s take and on how the agreement could favour him if any manipulations could come in place, instead of doing that; he find a way to lobby for a 2nd term at the presidency because he knows that his leader will never nominate him back due to agreement and the sharing formula drawn and signed by all in question.
Many people see Bukola Saraki as a selfish man unknown to many that their has been a signed agreement; this man got the 2nd term and he was confirmed by the Senate on autocracy by David Mark led PDP. Not more than 9 months in office for a 5 years appointment this man resigned again to pursue same lost glory Governorship ambition under the Kwara state PDP and he lost out woefully because he never understand what politics takes and the required sacrifices.
For Bukola Saraki to have left his comfort zone which is the PDP I keeping giving him huge respect because he is a kind of politician who values and believe in the wish of his people. It’s in Saraki I understand that change is a mother who raises a buoyant son. Despite all intimidation and witch hunting the Presidency embark on against him, yet he never compromised.
Kwarans; let us seize the throat of Nocturnal politicians with our votes and let them know that free is the thief who robs his master’s home. While kwaraPDP keeping singing/chanting the song called ‘Freedom for kwarans’ I keep asking myself this questions: “Is it freedom from the man who wasted Kwara slot because of his selfish ambition pursuance, OR freedom from the Billionaire who has never contributed to her state development and chooses to mandate her son by whatever cost to the people of ILORIN WEST/ASA, OR freedom from Nocturnal politicians, OR freedom from those who got all they desire through the Saraki dynasty, OR freedom from a working government under Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed”?
I see all those in kwara PDP as gamblers who invested in ‘Nairabet/bet9ja’ who want one kobo to yield one million; but the voice of the Kwarans will be heard on the poll day under the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki when APC wins all seat.
“Politically impotent are those who cannot fight for change”.
