Atiku Officially Announces Return To PDP
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has on Sunday, announced his defection back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku, who announced his defection via a live video broadcast on Facebook, noted that he has returned home to the PDP.
“The key to creating job is a strong economy and that is why we are currently lacking,” he said.
“So today, I want to let you know that I’mreturningg home to the PDP, as the issues that led me to leave it have now been resolved.”
Recall that the former Vice President tendered his resignation as a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on November 24, over alleged failure to carry the youths along in governance.
“While other parties have purged themselves of the arbitrariness and unconstitutionality that led to fractionalisation, the All Progressives Congress has adopted those same practices and even gone beyond them to institute a regime of a draconian clampdown on all forms of democracy within the party and the government it produced,” he had said.
