Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree from Njala University, Sierra Leone [PHOTOS]

Former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was on Saturday awarded Honorary Doctorate from the Njala University in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Tinubu was conferred with the Doctor of Civil Laws, (DCL) degree, Honoris Causa, by the University in recognition of what Njala University described as “Your outstanding role in Nigerian politics, especially your contributions to the field of education during your term as governor of Lagos State”.
The conferment ceremony took take place during the convocation ceremony of the University in Makonde in the South of Sierra Leone on Saturday February 15th, 2014. Njala University is an independent University and celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University, Prof. Abu Essay, had earlier described former Governor Tinubu as a Great Son of Africa, who has had a remarkable career in Public Service.
