Four abducted Chinese nationals have been rescued by Nigeria’s military after a gun battle with sea pirates.
Army spokesman, Major Ojo Adele fan said the four expatriates were kidnapped on Friday while travelling from Lagos to Ondo State.
“The military received a distress call and captured one of the kidnappers…The Chinese nationals got wounded but are receiving treatment,” he said.
The military declined to give names or other details.
