Army Faults INEC’s Position On Rivers Election
The Nigerian Army has faulted the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the position it adopted regarding the governorship election in Rivers State.
INEC indicted soldiers alongside armed thugs over the violence that forced the suspension of the elections in Rivers .
Executive Director, Global Peace and life rescue initiative, Melvin Ejeh, in an interview with TVC, also reiterated the position of the army.
“The governor is an alarmist. Wike wanted to rig the election and the position of the army is that the election should be held in a free and fair atmosphere”, he stated.
