The APYF felicitates with our brothers and sisters of the Muslim faith on this year’s Eid el Kabir celebrations.
The lessons of this festive occasion must not be lost in the merrymaking of the times. The willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son must be seen as a motivation that in everything that we do as as a nation, we must do so wholeheartedly – without any reservations.
As we pause to reflect on this, and the many other lessons of the season, let us embody the spirit of being our brother’s keepers, while also working to put our best foot forward in our collective struggle to reclaim and rebuild our great nation.
We pray that the Almighty in his infinite wisdom and mercies continues to guide and direct our ways as a nation, and may He also continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
