APC Has No Objection To The Gale Of Defection, Says Bolaji Abdullahi

The All Progressives Congress says it has no objection to the gale of defection in both chambers of the National Assembly on Tuesday.
A statement by National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, noted that the party leaders have worked hard to stave off this situation but appears that the individuals involved have different considerations beyond the grievances that they were willing to discuss.
The party says it respects the right of every citizen to political association and appealed to its members to remain loyal and law abiding.
It however boasted that it is still in majority in the House of Representatives while controlling 25 out of 36 states and will therefore continue to consolidate on its majority status in the lead up to the 2019 elections.
