Senator Andy Uba, is being fingered in the crises in Bayelsa state that led to the impeachment of the Governor General of the Ijaw Nation, Chief Dipriye Alamesiagha, as the governor of the state.
As the Domestic aide to former president Olusegun Obasanjo, 247ureports.com learnt when President Olusegun Obasanjo fell out with his Vice, Atiku Abubakar, Alams, as widely referred to by his political associates became a target of the hawks in the Corridors of power for his alleged support for the presidential ambition of Atiku Abubakar. According to those that should know better, with the massive financial war chest, Andy Uba, was to coordinate the removal of Alam from office.
“It did not take long for Uba to find a willing partner in the Alameisgha must go project, Faith Vedalago, the Founder of Faith international Ministry, was recruited to monitor Alamesiagha and his financial transactions in the state” said our source.
Though born by a Bayesan lady, Mrs. Charity, to an Italian Father, for her beauty, Alams appointed her the Commissioner for special duties. For the period she served as commissioner, she was operating from Transcorp Hotels, in Abuja.
Like a pun in a chess game, her beauty also caught the attention of the former president, and she became a regular face in the villa.
Her relationship with former president Obasanjo, later transcended the President’s office to several months of nocturnal relationship.
Source close to then president Obasanjo confided in our reporter that the Aso Rock Chapel’ s Chaplain pastor Obaje was also accused of keeping a nocturnal relationship with Faith as president Obasanjo later sent him packing from the Villa.
Pastor Obaje, it could be recalled was sent packing from the Villa at about 1am, same night Obasanjo called him to his office to warn him of the consequence of hobnobbing with his love bird, Faith.
According to our source “Obaje was thrown out of the Chapel, that night to nowhere. Rescue came his way when a friend helped him to move his property to Nigeria Brewery Guest House at Asokoro, Abuja.”
Obaje has since bought the building from Nigeria brewery and converted it to his personal residence.
Even after his sack, Obaje had kept close relationship with Faith. As he became involved in her ministry, preparing weekly sermons for her.
It was the same faith Vedelago that assist Obasanjo to track down Governor Alamesigha.
Our investigation revealed that with Obasanjo out of Villa, Senator Andy Uba, went ahead to consummate his relationship with Faith.
The consummation of the relationship did not come without its own scandal, as Faith was discovered to have been married to an Italian, who she had a 12 years old girl for.
Obiageli, Andy Uba, first wife, and Mother of his five grown up children had cried out in the media, accusing Pastor Faith of snatching her husband.
The relationship between Senator Uba and Faith is presently blessed with two kids.
Sources at the Wadata House, Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, told our correspondent that Bamanga Tukur and president Jonathan had come under severe pressure from the Alamesiagah‘s camp in the presidency to stop Senator Andy Uba from clinching the party’s ticket for the Anambra Guber election.
Armed with the High Court ruling, how Senator Andy Uba survives the Party’s onslaught ahead the election, remained to be seen.
