Anambra Polls: ‘Ifeanyi Ubah’s Campaign Train In Top Gear’
Contrary to insinuations in the media that Ifeanyi Ubah’s campaign train has slowed down, the Acting Director of Ifeanyi Ubah Media Team, Mr. Emmanuel Chijioke Ibeleme, has said that the campaign train is up and running with all the needed political passion and commitment to ensure its victory at the polls.
Ibeleme said that majority of the people in Anambra State have declared support for Ubah, and that the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate is the man to beat in the November 16, 2013 election: “Ubah’s Campaign Organisation is in high spirit. It is amazing how other party members are defecting in droves daily to join Labour Party and identify with Ubah. There is no doubt that he is the man to beat”, he declared.
Denouncing the publication of last Thursday, October 31, 2013, in “The Nation” Newspaper, which declared that Ifeanyi Ubah is broke, he said it is the handiwork of a mischief maker, in the person of Ubah’s former media consultant, Mr. Nkemjika Ibekwe, who has since been exposed to be double dealing and covertly working to tarnish the image of Ifeanyi Ubah-who is a front runner in the forthcoming election.
Mr. Nkemjika Ibekwe has since been sacked and was placed in Police detention at Awka, Anambra State.
Ibeleme said that the story about 60 bouncers leaving in anger was a fabrication by Nkemjika, because it was not a factual story. Moreover, the head of the bouncers, Mr Success Godwin Adibenjo confirmed that the story was a mere fallacy. “Dr Ifeanyi Ubah never owed the bouncers. They were even paid extra one week bonus, which they did not work for. They are still calling us, expressing their willingness to be considered for future engagement when the opportunity avails itself,” Success Godwin Adibenjo added.
On the allegation that Ubah’s business has failed, Ibeleme said that it is a laughable conjecture, an opinion based on insufficiently conclusive evidence. He said the clearance by the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on the issue remains a valid explanation that Capital Oil is not a failed business, but is only being restructured in its management to stabilize it within two years. It is regrettable that the former media consultant: Nkemjika, suddenly became a detractor who feigned ignorance on the matter.
Ibeleme said that if Capital Oil had failed, it would have been the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) that would have taken over its winding-up affairs and not AMCON, contrary to what the detractor: Nkemjika, wants the public to believe.
He added that Capital Oil is just one out of many businesses owned by Ubah, and that the Labour Party candidate – who, by the favour of God, has a well-structured his life and business, and is, therefore, not lacking both business and personal funds. Ubah is blessed and contented in life and will never run for the election because of monetary considerations.
He said that Ubah means well for the Anambra people, and that he has helped so many people in his home state, and is still doing so every other day. Mr. Ibeleme concluded that Ifeanyi Ubah is contesting the election to win and use the victorious opportunity to transform Anambra State.
He noted that despite the activities of detractors, the Labour Party candidate remains the front-runner, who is undaunted and focused in this electioneering campaign.
