Abuja/Lagos Politicians and Their Antics by Abdulraheem Salman
One will wonder why some politicians so much rely on cheap blackmail, day light tales as well as assassination of the character of their fellow human beings in order to have their ways. Have they forgotten the popular saying that “whoever lives in glass house doesn’t throw stones”? Their approach will neither benefit them as an individual or groups nor the party as a whole. They resolved at sponsoring different write ups in the social media to discredit well rooted personalities.
I have carefully watched the various desperate moves by some politicians who belief so much in destabilizing the fortunes of others as a catalyst for their upwardness. What a pity! Prior to this moment, characters of the likes of Senator Gbemisola Ruqayyat Saraki, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Professor Oba Abdulraheem among other big shots in the Kwara PDP had been assassinated by this same set of over ambitious persons who cannot see beyond their nostrils. Now, it is the turn of Senator Suleiman Ajadi. If I may ask, what do you stand to benefit? Governorship ambition, just like every other elective positions is nothing but a mere expression of interest which can only be granted by God through the endorsement of delegates within the party on one hand (at the preliminary stage during the primaries) and through the entire electorate on the other hand (during the election proper).
However, instead of the Abuja/Lagos based politicians to warm their interests in the heart of the people, they so much relied heavily on cheap publicity and blackmail of personalities that are even much better and well rooted than they claim to be.
I think for any reasonable person to have claimed and ignorantly disclosed that Senator Ajadi is working for the return of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed as Kwara State Governor in 2015 is not only condemnable and baseless but it is also embarrassing to the entire structure of the Kwara PDP because such statement is capable of making the party lose its focus ahead of the race.
What does coming from Babanloma in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State being a sister community to Share, Governor Ahmed’s community has to do with wrestling power from APC in 2015? Are they aware that in Share were Governor Ahmed comes from, there are more than enough PDP members who cannot wait to see the governor out of the Kwara State Government House not to talk of Babanloma community which is about 20 kilometers from Share?
Enough of all this campaign of calumny! If someone had left his party because of his non-acceptance of the imposition of Bukola Saraki-led nPDP defected structure to form the APC on his existing structure, why must he feels that he is better than everyone he met in the PDP to the extent of becoming the party’s candidate in 2015?
Well, assassinating the innocent souls of the people will take you and your lobby group to no here rather it will continue to earn you more foes. The only answer to your yearning is to go back to the grassroots and continue to seek the mandate of the people you wish to serve and we shall also say nothing but best wishes because, this time around the decision and voice of the masses shall be the voice of God.
Kwarans may be mute and remained resolute but they are also in tune with the growing in the romance between the Mrs. Bola Shagaya and the Bukola Saraki political leadership as the sole supplier of fertilizers. We are also aware that the permutation of Bola Tinubu in conjunction with his political clique is to plant Mr. Dele Belgore, SAN, into Kwara PDP based on mutual understanding as an instrument of destabilization and rancour.
We are however aware of the ways the Kwara PDP is being ran by the lobby groups like Omoda Development Association whose meeting can be held even in the bedroom of an acclaimed financier. The party has been so relegated to such level that nobody matters to them than their personal interests.
This same group lobbied to ensure that Dr. Suleiman Abubakar from Ajikobi ward becomes the Minister. They also went ahead to appoint three aides for him from Agbaji, Okeleru and Popo-Giwa all in Ajikobi Ward at the expense of the remaining 191 wards. It is now crystal clear that the tune is being dictated by the person paying the pipers. Such is their antics. For an Abuja based politician to be plotting on how to impose a Lagos based politician on the people of Kwara is nothing but a mere tales of Chimpanzee which can only be told to infants.
Therefore, how relevant is the pipers’ payer in this struggle? Time shall tell. But I am damn sure and certain that Kwarans will get it and set it right this time around and get rid of the political fraudsters.
Shine your eyes well, well and beware of political fraudsters and over ambitious dealers!!!
