8m Nigerians Activate Do-Not-Disturb Code – NCC
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has revealed that about eight million Nigerians have activated the Do-Not-Disturb (2442) code.
The Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbata, stated this at the maiden edition of the Nigerian Technology Innovation and Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON).
Danbatta noted that the level of activation of the code increased from nearly a million, after the declaration of 2017 as the year of consumer in March, to the present figure.
He however attributed the achievements to NCC’s massive campaign and consistency with its eight-point agenda which include projection and empowerment of telecommunication consumers.
