2019: Saraki, Wike, Tambuwal In fresh Attacks On Buhari, APC
Stalwarts in the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has raised their voices against the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Senate President and presidential aspirant, Bukola Saraki, had on Monday night, called for the removal of President Buhari from office.
Saraki told supporters in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital that Buhari lacks clues on good governance and has sharply divided the country.
“It is time not to vote for sentiments but for someone that can perform. I believe I have the capacity, ability and track record,” he said.
Similarly, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike accused President Buhari of sponsoring some PDP presidential aspirants, stressing that the people of the state would not be deceived into backing any candidate with compromised credentials.
This came as Sokoto State governor and alsoa PDP presidential aspirant, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, accused President Buhari of failing to curb the insurgency in the northeast and of aggravating poverty.
Tambuwal told supporters in Birnin Kebbi that the Federal Government’s anti-graft agencies were allegedly resorting to blackmail and intimidation to frustrate his ambition.
