2019: Northern Youths Pass Vote Of Confidence On INEC

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Northern Youths Leaders Forum has passed a vote of confidence on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The group also commended the transparency demonstrated in carrying out its activities.

In a press conference organized by the group, it cautioned politicians and political parties against piling unnecessary pressure on INEC as it prepares for the conduct of the general election.

On the controversy surrounding the national minimum wage, the northern youths advised labour to suspend all kinds of industrial action and demand for an improved living wage until April.
