2015: Jonathan Appoints Diezani, 177 Others as Members of His Declaration Committee [ See List]

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed 178 persons fro his government and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for his formal declaration to contest the presidency scheduled for November 11.
Among those appointed are the minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, who presides over Nigeria’s oil wealth. She is to serve as the chairman of the all-important finance committee which also has Gombe governor and former accountant-general of the federation, Ibrahim Dankwambo as vice chairman. The committee will be chaired by Senate Chairman of the senate committee on finance, Senator Ahmed Makarfi.
The FCT minister, Sen. Bala Mohammed heads the venue and decoration committee; the Ondo governor, Olusegun Mimiko heads the medical committee; and the logistics and transportation sub-committee will be headed by Abia governor, Theodore Orji.
The Katsina governor, Ibrahim Shema will head the security sub-committee, while the event/programme subcommittee will be headed by the Cross River governor, Liyel Imoke.
