141 Libya Returnees Arrive Lagos

Another batch of 141 Nigerians stranded in Libya have arrived the country with the assistance of the International Office for Migration and the European Union, EU.
The returnees who arrived on board a chartered flight through the cargo wing of the Lagos airport were received by officials of the Immigration Service, NAPTIP, Refugee Commission, FAAN and Port HEALTH.
These comprised 71 female, 53 male adults and 17 children.
Amongst them were 2 medical cases, 9 families and 11 pregnant women.
Receiving the returnees, the Chief Planning Officer, on behalf of the Director General NEMA and other Federal Agencies urged the Returnees not to allow the unfortunate experiences to negatively impact on their lives.
