An ugly incidence where a man set himself ablaze in Tunisia leading to the revolution in that country a few years ago has reared its head in Nigeria as a middle-aged man sets himself ablaze in the nations capital.
The incidence occurred on Tuesday, few hours to the New Year at the deceased residence located at Gwarimpa area in Abuja.
Although the reason for his action is yet unknown, a source said it may not be unconnected with the economic hardship in the country.
The neighbours of the deceased noticed smoke coming from the man’s apartment and ran to the scene. On getting there, they found his charred remains.
His corpse has been evacuated by the police to the General Hospital, Kubwa, Abuja.
